The web-based portal is the hub of the TotalPave environment that ties all aspects of the system together. All the data collected using each of the three mobile applications is stored on TotalPave servers and displayed on the web portal. The data is displayed visually on a map of the customer’s city or town, and is also provided in tabular format. Initial setup is easy with TotalPave as existing shapefiles of your road network are loaded automatically into the portal to create road centreline sections. If you’re new to data collection, we can help you set this up with shapefiles we have, or if you have an existing pavement management system we can upload your current files to match up seamlessly with what you already do. To give the customer the utmost flexibility with data they collect, export options are provided in formats that seamlessly integrate with existing software like ESRI ArcGIS and Microsoft Excel.
Along with data analysis and reporting, the web-based portal also provides the admin with system management features to easily create or delete accounts in their organization. The following image shows the portal’s main page from a “TotalPave Admin’s” point of view.
