The operating speed for IRI data collection is above 20km/h (12mph). If the system detects you are travelling below the speed threshold while recording, it will automatically engage "Slow Mode".
Any data collected while "Slow Mode" is engaged will be filtered out of the IRI calculation, this ensures only data collected while the vehicle is above the speed threshold is used in the IRI calculation. If too much of the section is covered while slow mode is engaged, the system will not calculate an IRI value.
Slow Mode can be toggled on and off depending on your application. To do so from the main screen of the app:
- Click "Settings"
- Click the Slow Mode toggle on/off
Note, it is always best to keep Slow Detection in most cases in order to ensure accurate data.
