The following equipment is recommended to perform a PCI survey:
- Smartphone device equipped with TotalPave PCI Calculator app
- Metric or Imperial measuring wheel or “surveyor’s wheel”
- Measuring tape
- Appropriate safety equipment
- Digital copy of the PCI Distress manual
- Spray paint / chalk (optional)
For safety and efficiency, it is recommended surveys be done with two personnel, although it can be done with only one person.
